Lucy Lean is editor of edible Los Angeles, a quarterly magazine that explores the local food culture season by season.  She also manages the magazine’s website, edibleLA.com.  Lucy began her magazine career working for Tina Brown at Talk in New York City.  As an assistant to magazine creative director Oliviero Toscani, she worked with Brown and Toscani to produce the monthly publication while also contributing as a writer and reporter.  Lucy edited 20 books on World Cinema for the British Film Institute and Le Sept Arté to complement the BFI documentary series 100 Years of Cinema. She has worked in theatrical marketing at PolyGram Films and appeared on the BBC as “London Girl Lucy Lean Meeting Her Friends for Lunch.”  Lucy has a bachelor’s degree in English literature and a master’s in film and television from the University of London.  She returns to Europe each summer to travel, eat and enjoy life with friends and family.
